Course educates learners on Process Improvement & Discharged which is a critical skill to be learned that enables patients to be cared for and weaned off of mechanical ventilation. It is one of seven courses that comprise Enhanced Respiratory Care Certification.

• Understand the discharge process begins prior to admission
• Discuss with the resident and family the goals of care, including discharge preferences, prior to admission
• Plan for discharge possibilities with multiple levels of care
