USA Today Highlights Need For Continuous Electronic Monitoring

by Michael Wong

Thank you, Dr. Val Jones and USA Today, for highlighting the tragic story of 11-year old Leah, who sadly died after elective surgery.

As Leah’s mother (Lenore Alexander) says, “Leah was not monitored, either by a pulse oximeter or capnograph. Had she been monitored, perhaps she would still be alive today.”
